Four years later in July 2017, the Airbus A320-232 became part of Scoot's fleet when Tigerair merged with Scoot, keeping the "9V-TAU" registration on the aircraft

The aircraft was stored under BOC Aviation for six months from April 2018 till October 2018 and was registered as M-ABLJ. That same month in October 2018, the Airbus A330-343 was sold to Air Asia X (Malaysia) and registered as 9M-XBD

The registration remained as it is when the aircraft was returned to China Eastern Airlines in March 2019
